Jahrhunderts. Sie versprechen Rechenleistungen, die weit \u00fcber die M\u00f6glichkeiten klassischer Computer hinausgehen \u2013 mit gravierenden Auswirkungen auf Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft. Doch zwischen theoretischem Potenzial und industrieller Anwendbarkeit liegen erhebliche technische Herausforderungen. Welche technologischen Durchbr\u00fcche sind absehbar, und welche Erwartungen sind realistisch?<\/p>\n<p>Referentin des Abends ist PD Dr. Jeanette Miriam Lorenz, Expertin f\u00fcr Quantencomputing am Fraunhofer Institut f\u00fcr Kognitive Systeme IKS. Sie besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit der \u00dcberf\u00fchrung quantencomputergest\u00fctzter Verfahren in reale Anwendungsszenarien \u2013 insbesondere in den Bereichen Industrie, Mobilit\u00e4t und komplexe Entscheidungsprozesse. In ihrem Vortrag wird sie Einblicke in aktuelle Forschungsans\u00e4tze geben, unterschiedliche Hardware- und Softwarekonzepte einordnen und erl\u00e4utern, welche technologischen Durchbr\u00fcche noch erforderlich sind, um Quantencomputer jenseits von Laborumgebungen nutzbar zu machen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Nutzung von Quantencomputern bringt neben enormen technologischen Chancen auch weitreichende ethische Fragestellungen mit sich, die eine gesellschaftliche Debatte und regulatorische Rahmenbedingungen erfordern.
