The temple carries out an exclusion of the sacred in stone. But what is holy? And where does God dwell? These questions were already wrestled with intensively in biblical times, and the biblical and extra-biblical texts that have been handed down allow us to follow this struggle for God mentally - and to place ourselves in the history of this thinking about God.
