Scientific advice

The Academic Council pools research trends from a wide range of subjects and guarantees the high academic standard of the Catholic Academy in Bavaria.

It consists of 24 lecturers from Bavarian universities and supports the Academy in particular in its statutory task of deepening the academic understanding of the Catholic world.

Its members are appointed for a period of five years by the President of the Freising Bishops' Conference.
