The Association for the Promotion of Christian Social Teaching "Ordo socialis" awards every two years
the Ordo Socialis Prize, which honours individuals who have lived up to this standard in the midst of a global,
culturally diverse and pluralistic world in an exemplary manner and who, through their work, are committed to the dissemination of
and realisation of important topics of Christian social teaching. To this end, outstanding social science
Work, exemplary social commitment, a life's work and selfless dedication to justice
include.
The Catholic Academy is taking this year's award of the Ordo Socialis Prize to Sylvie Goulard as an opportunity to talk to the long-standing MEP
and former French defence minister about Europe and the rise of the radical right. With her lecture
Goulard, who incidentally speaks excellent German as President of the Franco-German Institute, wants to provide orientation.
