400 years after the Reformation, Catholics also understood that it is not just the priest who "reads" or "celebrates" the service, but the entire community of the assembled faithful. But what does it actually mean to be the subject of the liturgy? Understanding the texts and consciously saying the Amen? Mastering the assigned role in gestures, text and melody? For many today, participation means more: deciding, organising and leading. But liturgical activities require skills that not everyone has. Do amateurs first have to be trained as professionals? Or is the standard of content and aesthetics not so important? Who draws the line where?
Diesen und weiteren Fragen geht die Tagung in Zusammenarbeit mit dem „Ökumenisches Stundengebet e.V.“ nach.
