Between shitstorm and parish fusion

Change communication in churches
Thursday, 13.03. - Friday, 14.03.2025

Changes are everywhere in today's society and especially in the church. Parish mergers, reforms and image changes are just a few examples. They can change the current situation for the better, but also for the worse. Only one thing is certain: nothing will stay the same. This scares many people, as they are usually quite happy with the current situation. That's why changes often provoke strong reactions. Shitstorms and insults are just a few examples of this. At the "Church on the Web" conference in 2025, we want to look at how the church can skilfully manage and communicate change, from crisis communication to change management. Experts from other sectors will be invited and experience reports on how to deal with negative reactions digitally and analogue will be discussed.

The conference will also be streamed online. If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please register for the online price and we will send you the access link after the registration deadline.
